Upcoming Highlights
Please refer to the calendar below for complete details about the following events:
Undivide Us, a screening of a 58-minute documentary film with discussion, at the Ann Arbor District Library, 343 S. Fifth Avenue, on Tuesday, October 7th, 6 to 7:30 pm. The documentary looks through the intimate lens of six focus groups across three American cities to explore the twisted landscape of toxic polarization, revealing how it drives us to places fundamentally un-American. Yet, within these divisions, the film uncovers the potential for healing conversation and the rediscovery of the value of local community, mutual respect, and democracy. Aiming to awaken the silenced majority that seeks solutions rather than strife, Undivide Us is not just a documentary; it's a timely and urgent plea to reclaim the nation's soul through open discourse, civic engagement, and self-governance, in a world where only 20% of the populace guides the narrative. In partnership with Michigan Community Scholars Program.
Family and Politics, an in-person workshop in Manchester, MI on Sunday, October 12th, from 1-4pm. Family relationships are becoming casualties of our toxic polarized environment. If you want to preserve or re-establish family bonds while still being true to your values and political beliefs, this workshop is for you! Read more here!

Who truly speaks for the working class? Is there hope that populism—of the right or the left—might truly serve this group that so often feels overlooked? What does this multifaceted group want, anyway?
We held a coliseum debate in person and live-streamed on YouTube (recording available). Our four panelists debated the possibility of political realignment and made the case for and against our resolution: Resolved - The Republican Party is the party of the working class.
Local attendees had the opportunity to connect with our speakers, our National Debate Team, Michigan Network and Washtenaw Alliance leaders and members, and others who care about working class politics and bridging political divides.
After the panel Q&A, we enjoyed a light reception of drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
